Hero Siege Season 10 Ether Tree Guide

Hero Siege Season 10 Ether Tree Guide: Ready to Pop and XP Farming

The Ether Tree is one of the most important systems to understand once you reach the endgame in Hero Siege Season 10. Unlike your normal class skill tree, the Ether Tree is designed around farming mechanics. Your choices can change how often certain events appear, how easily you find them, and how efficiently you gain experience or loot.

If your main goal is fast Hero Level progression, one setup deserves special attention: Ready to Pop.

What Is the Ether Tree?

The Ether Tree becomes available around Level 100 and provides a separate progression system focused on endgame mechanics rather than direct character skills.

Ether Points are obtained through special quests as you progress through Hell and Inferno. Your first points are limited, so spreading them across several farming mechanics usually gives worse results than specializing in one strategy.

Season 10 also changed the system so that mechanics can eventually reach a 100% spawn chance when you invest enough into their related spawn-rate nodes. This makes specialization much more valuable than simply taking random bonuses.

Why Ready to Pop Matters

Ready to Pop is the key node for the popular Bloater farming strategy.

Once activated, Colossal Chest events can spawn Bloating/Bloater enemies. These monsters are valuable because killing them produces large amounts of experience, making the event an efficient way to push Hero Levels.

Current Season 10 farming guides recommend reaching Ready to Pop with 17 Ether Points as the core requirement for this strategy.

That means your first objective should not be collecting random Magic Find nodes. If experience is your priority, build toward Ready to Pop as efficiently as possible.

The Best Early Ether Path

When you are starting the XP setup, think about your points in this order:

  1. Path toward Ready to Pop

This is the foundation of the entire farming strategy.

  1. Increase Discovery Range

After unlocking the core mechanic, invest in nodes that make Colossal Chest events easier to locate. Finding the event faster directly improves your experience per hour.

  1. Add supporting farming nodes

Once the core path is complete, use remaining points for useful bonuses that complement your farming route.

The important thing is not to spend valuable early points on unrelated mechanics simply because they look attractive.

How the XP Farm Works

The farming loop is straightforward:

Enter the map → locate a Colossal Chest event → activate it → kill the Bloating enemies → collect the XP → reset and repeat.

Misty Swamp is one of the commonly recommended locations for this strategy because the Colossal Chest event can be reached efficiently and the map works well for repeated runs.

You are not trying to complete the entire map.

The goal is XP per minute.

If clearing additional monsters takes several minutes but gives little additional experience compared with another chest run, simply move on.

What If You Don’t Have 17 Ether Points?

This is one of the biggest problems for newly capped characters.

Do not panic if Ready to Pop is still locked.

Continue completing the Ether quests available in Hell. Some players use a keyed dungeon quest to obtain additional Ether Points and reach the 17-point requirement faster.

Until the node is available, use other efficient activities to continue gaining Hero Levels and improving your character.

The important thing is to treat your early Ether Points as an investment toward your farming engine.

Should You Take Other Nodes?

Yes—but only after deciding what you actually want to farm.

If your priority is experience, the Bloater Farm path makes sense.

If you need materials, a Mining-oriented tree can be more useful. If you want relics or boss-related drops, other Ether branches may provide better returns. Current S10 guides specifically emphasize that there is no single best Ether Tree for every player.

Your farming goal should determine your tree, not the other way around.

Don’t Forget Your Economy

XP farming can also produce useful equipment and other drops. A good Loot Filter helps you avoid wasting time picking up worthless items.

The more efficiently you clear events, the more opportunities you have to collect resources and build Hero Siege Gold while progressing your Hero Level.

Just remember that the Ether Tree itself is primarily a farming system. Your Incarnation Tree remains important for improving the character’s actual combat power.

When Should You Reset Your Ether Tree?

Your first setup does not have to be permanent.

Once your needs change, you can reset the tree and build toward another farming mechanic. Season 10 reduced the reset cost to 1,250 gold per node, making experimentation somewhat easier than before.

For example, you might use Ready to Pop while pushing Hero Levels, then switch to a different tree once you are ready to focus on boss materials or specialized loot.

Ifyour character is already strong enough for the content you want to farm, you can also consider spending resources on buy Hero Siege Items only when a specific gear upgrade actually improves your farming speed.

For fast Hero Level farming, keep the setup simple:

Ether Points → Ready to Pop → Discovery Range → Colossal Chest hunting → Bloating enemies → XP → Repeat.

Do not spread your first points across five different mechanics. Specialization gives you a clear objective and makes every farming run more efficient.

Once you understand how Ready to Pop works, the Ether Tree becomes much easier to manage. Instead of looking at hundreds of nodes and wondering what to choose, you can build around one specific goal and expand the tree when your character and farming needs change.
